Pre-requisites

On your remote SIM machine install any pre-requisites prior to installing any SIM modules

· CiscoSIM requires the CiscoTSP

· MitelSIM requires MiTAI

· VCXSIM requires that the SIM host machine be added as a trusted endpoint

Installation

1. Run the server setup

2. Choose your install location

3. Select your SIM (Mitel requires pre-requisite MiTAI, Cisco requires pre-requisite CiscoTSP) then click through the dialogues

4. Reboot when prompted

5. When you log back in the install script will complete

Configuration

You will have a SIM icon in the system tray.

6. Right click on the SIM and direct it to your licensed VistaPoint server’s PCE (make sure you have an available license for this SIM).

7. Configuring your SIM. This will push any devices it is responsible for into the VistaPoint system (see setup and configuration steps in the administration guide).
