General CPS Information – Client

The script file resides in the application directory and loads each time the application is launched. Note: For MS Vista™ compliance the default “save to” directory has been changed to the user application configuration directory.

In typical XP deployments this script it is distributed by copying the file to the application directory.

To see and edit the file

Login as the VP administrator – this will unlock the CPS editor

Note: If you forgot the Admin login you can change it on the server by right clicking on the VistaPoint Database Server and selecting “Reset Administrator Password”.

Opening CPS Scrip Editor this will show you the contents of the loaded scrip.

Note: Saving the script will copy and “save to” the Vista™ compliant directory by default
